23 more just killed by Israeli air strikes today. 120 dead since Wednesday. When is this going to stop, when will the West finally say enough is enough. Why is this being allowed to happen? My thoughts and prayers for the Lebanon.

Other pro-Palestinian blogs I've read seem to express a lot of hatred for Israel which doesn't really further the argument of Palestinian/Lebanese/Hizbollah side. Where your sympathies lie is fairly clear from your "stronger child" analogy, but you also seem to take a constructive approach compared to some other pro-Palestinian bloggers I've read.

So, even though you didn't want to get into the issue of blame, I'd like to pursue your analogy.

First of all, why do you cast your own side as a "child"? This seems to offer an excuse for bad behavior that one could logically accept from an kid, but not from an adult. Aren't Palestinians (and Israeli's) to be held responsible for their actions as grown men and women? I can not recall a pro-Israeli blogger ever comparing themselves to children as you seem to have done.

To be fair, you compared the actions of Israel to a child, too, but calling the other side immature isn't unusual.

Also, I am assuming that Israel is who you meant to be the "stronger child", but in the larger context of the Middle East, is that really correct? Many Arab countries and Iran vigorously oppose Israel, and their combined wealth, power and land seem far greater than Israel's.

Since I'm wading into the other side's territory, I expect to be called a lot of names, but I actually would like your perspective on my questions.

I believe protests should go worldwide to oust this paranoid so-called 'Israeli' regime which is the cause of trauma even for its multi-ethnic people, the Jews!

When is your sit-in in front of the Lebanese embassy? After all, they're the ones who haven't reigned in Hizballah despite UN mandates to do so years ago.

And when is your sit-in in front of the Iranian and Syrian embassies? They provide hundreds of millions of dollars a year in support of terrorist scum like Hizballah worldwide.

When is your candlelight vigil for the return of kidnapped Israeli soldiers, and commemorating the deaths of innocent Israeli citizens at the hands of missile-firing and suicide-bombing Islamist thugs stuck in the 7th-century?

my plan to end this fiasco:

1- Hizb hands over the 2 soldiers to UN
2- Israel stops bombing Lebanon
3- Hizb hands over rockets and all weapons to Lebanese army
4- Lebanese Army takes control over all of Lebanon
5- Israel releases Lebanese prisoners as a gesture of good will
6- Lebanon is saved from certain destruction

I don't plan to go to heaven much soon, indeed. I hope YOU do. You did want a Jihad, you have your Jihad. Aren't you happy? This is what happens when you mess with the Chosen Ones.

Next time, if you are still around, think twice before kidnapping a soldier or launching a missile, and maybe Israel will leave you alone. The situation you have made yourselves into is entirely and exclusively your fault.

Oh, sure, you don't support Hizbullah, and they just settled there and you could do nothing. Well, yes you could. You have had 20 years and a couple of UN resolutions to disarm Hezbollah, but instead you've played dumb. Well, here's your reward. You earned it, eh? And now that Israel has to clean the mess for you, you call them murderers. That's what I call "honorable behaviour".

I have nothing personal against anyone of you, but as a society and a country I thing you reaped what you sow. Now stop whining about everything and decide which side you are in. Us, or the terrorists?

If us, start working NOW.

If the terrorists... well, see you in paradise. Heh.

Funny how you use 'us' and 'the terrorists'. I see no difference.

War and murder is wrong and must be stopped.

That is the same thing as saying that Israel has reaped what it has sowed by kicking out the Palestinians out of their homes and illegaly taking over their lands and forcing them into becoming refugees. So should I then say to stop whining and suck it up and don't whine and cry about suicide bombings in Israel? Thats beyond the point, we have to work on the current crisis. People like you and the Israeli government are the reason why Isreal will eventually fail. You can't just go in guns blazing and think that because you showed a whole lot of force nobody is every going to 'mess' with the 'chosen people' again. You have just created ten-fold more Hezbollahs in the region. I agree with most that Hezbollah was wrong in what it did and that it does need to be disarmed. But for the Israeli government to just say well the Lebanese should have just disarmed them and this wouldn't have happened, well its a lot easier said than done. They were in the process of doing that, but now that Israel is destroying the army and the sensitive infrastructure of Lebanon, they have laid the grounds for Hezbollah to have even greater control of the area and even laid the grounds for a Syrian intervention into Lebanon which would be the greatest disaster. So Sir Sefirot try and stick to the point and don't say things that make no sense.
