You call me ignorant but do you really know the history of the region?? Until the 70S the Israeli-Lebanese border was quiet and tranquil. Than king Hussien has deported the PLO from Jordan (black september rings a bell?) and they have started a civil war that has destroyed Lebanon. It was they who had terroized our northern border until 1982 (check out the Maaolt massacre inside a school for example). we have invaded (with support by many Lebanese groups especially the chistian) to kick out the PLO and we have succeded. Our mistake was creating a security zone inside Lebanon (no settelments, only soldiers and Lebanese civilians) to protect our border against incursions. By 2000 we understood that the security zone had served no purpose what so ever, It just gave Hisballah the pretext they needed to attack us (soldiers and civilians in Lebanon, Israel and even Buenus-Aires). After 2000 Israel has retreated from Lebanon and the UN has issued resolution 1559 calling for the disarmament of Hizballah. Several times Hizballah has attacked across our border kiling soldiers and civilians with-out provocation. In the lst Hizballah attack 3 soldiers died 2 were kidnaped and several civilians wounded in diversionary attacks. Do you think we shoud release Samir Kuntar for example, a man who has bashed a little girls head with a rock?? What would you do in our place??
If you want to find humane jews I am sure that mentioning hitler is a great strategy.

Indeed you arabs have shown great courage and success on the battlefield. You did very well in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973 and 1982 (arab-israeli wars in case you wonder what this numbers mean). I am sorry when we kill civilians but when your "brave" warriors hide inside civilian houses, women and children you should accept responsebility for civilian losses. Tell me Xylocane how many Lebanese have been killed so far? about 100 or so (some of them militants). It is tragic but you must understand that if you want HATRED and total war look at examples in history like Dresden, Hamburg or grozny. If Israel really wanted to kill your civilians we could kill hundreds of thousnds in mere days (or hours). Swallow your pride, you are not in a position to issue threat, especialy not with total war. You must decide what is stronger, your love for Lebanon or your hatered for Israel.
