Latuff Threatened by the Israeli Right-Wing Party

It was not very surprising when I learned that my friend Carlos Latuff has been threatned by the Israeli right-wing party. His courageous cartoons must be causing a lot of discomfort for those who cannot handle an opposing opinion. The initial page is in Hebrew. (You can view it here) Below is a screenshot.

"This Carlos should have been 'taken care of' a long time ago, in some way or another. The question is: what should we do, and whose responsibility is it to do so?"

He has a reference in Wikipedia; at Google you can find 8 pages about him. But what does the Foreign Affairs Ministry know about him? The Mossad? The Committee of Foreign Affairs and Security? The Israeli Army? Any other element that deals with Israel's security?"

I didn't know that the Mossad and the Israeli Army and other elements that deal with Israel's security need to be involved in cartoons!

"He hates America & Israel, his cartoons show Israelis and their rulers as demons. He sends missiles of hatred no less powerful than the missiles that Iran is developing..."

I would like to know how his cartoons that are described as "missiles of hatred" can compare to the tons of smart (and idiot) bombs that were dropped over Lebanon and lead to the death of more than 1200 Lebanese civilians and all the bridges and 100's of buildings...

"The Israeli carelessness on the information front is not acceptable and can't go on. This Carlos should have been 'taken care of' a long time ago, in some way or another. The question is: what should we do, and whose responsibility is it to do so?"

This reminds me of the cartoonist Naji Al Ali who was assassinated as well!

I always thought that this applies to Fox News and CNN and other similar media!

There is always a price that one has to pay for speaking the truth; many who don't like Latuff's way of expressing the truth are resorting to sending him death threats and trying to terrorize him through various means. They only hope that they can intimidate him into silence. Latuff says, "The most that Likud creeps can do is silence me with a bullet, but they will never be able to silence my art."
