A cross-border raid, soldiers killed and captured: Hezbollah-Israel 2006, or PKK-Turkey 2007? And yet, out of great similarities are born great ironies: while the US is now crying out for “restraint”, restraint was the farthest thing on its mind last year. It doesn’t take a great stretch of the imagination to envision what the US reaction would be if Turkey started shelling the Green Zone in Baghdad, and bombarding its bridges. Suffice it to say, I don't think Condi will coolly accept it as “the birth pangs of the Middle East”… As our good old saying goes, “If you have no shame, do as you wish!”
At least that didn't go unnoticed, even in the US:

pkk have no voice as PART of the Iraq government whereas hezbollah is PART of the Lebanese government..
And the IDF is part of the Israeli government, and has slaughtered and terrorized more innocent civilians than both the PKK and Hezbollah put together. Is it simply the designation of those in power that goes for "truth" these days? As much as you and others would want to believe that and insist on it, people aren't all as dumb as you'd like to think they are. I am not so naive as to simply wave "one person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter" in your face; but nor am I so stupid as to take your designation (or that of the US or Europe, or anyone else for that matter) on who's a "terrorist" and who's not.
But I am not sure why I am even bothering to respond to self-confessed radical (see his Blogger profile), and a hypocrite who claims to believe in the "right to live", but not for others; someone who is not apologetic for "collateral damage" and believes in "disproportional response" ("all attacks should be responded in kind 10 fold") except on you, your family &/or your "nation". You, sir, are the definition of hypocrisy, a fanatic "nut job" with no sense of right and wrong. You, sir, ARE what you claim you despise. And people like you, and other nut jobs like you, scare me: your beliefs are terroristic, in the true sense of the word.
Nothing to add. Except by way of illustration: The proof that the designation of "terrorist" is not an absolute matter (duh, why does this need to be explained???) is the Mujahidin-i khalq. The same people (UK) who designated them as terrorists years ago now removed them off the terrorist list. Why? Nothing has changed about them. But the political playground has!
