Congratulations!

I want to congratulate all Lebanese and all freedom supporters everywhere, for the withdrawal of all Syrian troops from Lebanon.

This dream that seemed so far away just four month ago was made true so fast that I still can’t quite believe it!

Alas the price was, oh, so high. Rafic Hariri had to die for our dream to come true. So thank you Mr. Hariri where ever you are…

May Lebanon stay forever free.

I saw the troop withdrawal on tv. I got tears in my eyes. You have so much to be proud of, and I don't know if you care, but I was just so proud of what you have done! Live Free Lebanon! Live Forever Free!

So the least you can do is thank them for keeping your kind in power.

Tragedy? No sir, this is not a tragedy. This is proof of the spinelessness of some Lebanese.

The Syrian are gone.. and good ridance.. I think progressive Lebanese should reach out and work with progressive Syrians to have effective change over there that will affect the whole region.. Lebanon can never survive as an island.

Now that they are gone, God save the Lebanese from themselves.

We only have ourselves to blame from now on.

Marsden, you just drop quotes from biased sources like abukhalil and expect us to take you seriously?

Henry Kissinger, in his memoirs, wrote about how the late dictator Hafez el Asad was going to invade lebanon before anyone ever 'asked' him. Furthermore, it's a wellknown fact that the Syrians were inciting trouble before they ever entered... they were passing weapons to palestinians etc...

You are a biased person, with a very twisted view of the situation. A foreign army left my country, and to you, that's bad.

How's your application to Hizballah? Let me know of you need letters of recommendation... I'd be happy to oblige, and suggest you for their earliest suicide mission...

Don't worry, it won't be an island. It shall be... Eretz Yisrael. Because those Maronites just love the "Israelis". In fact, they took the initiative by learning Hebrew... 30 years ago.

Nah, according to another blogger here (and Annahar), the Syrians will always be responsible for what happens in Lebanon.

See for yourself.

If it's not Syria, it must be Syria! Kill more Syrian labourers!
