What do you guys know about Roger Edde? I know he was interested in running for President in Lebanon but he is no where to be seen now. I know he is doing great business wise... and that he is damn rich... any information?

your a genius... damn straight he's rich... that obviously makes him an excellent candidate for presidency.
while you're at it, call up carlos ghosn and see if he's dumb enough to take the job.

She's just looking for more info on some dude that had political aspirations without making any subjective commentary. She mentionned his wealth and business-savinness as descriptives only, and not as predictors of his political intelligence.

thank you callipayge. I didn't say i want this guy to become president but I was just surprised that the guy until late last summer was interested in running for presidency and then poof he disappears.
ram: roger edde supported Aoun in the parliamentary elections in Byblos, Aoun screwed him over, didn't even give him a spot on his ticket... Edde lost a lot of credibility after that... he's a non-factor, i'd say.
