Bloggers in Jabal Moussa

First, let's take a look at how active and enthusiastic we were at the very beginning. That didn't happen often.

As LP said, the trip began with a dangerous slope (no, no picture of that, since I was busy not dying), due to which we lost the Majdoulin couple; they held their own blogger meeting, somewhere there:

As for us, we were mercilessly crushed by Nidal and those brave hikers who were always first in arriving to destination. The sun took care of coloring our faces of course; hikers who forgot to apply their sun cream were so lucky compared to those who applied it, only missing a few spots here and there (not a fine look in the next morning I can tell you!) And when the fog came, seeing the person walking in front of you was kind of impossible (2al shou: "listen to the mystical sound of silence", the guide said. yeah, right!)

Anyway, here's where we were (for explanations, point at the pictures):

Bloggers having lunch

Rare flower

The only living soul

Somebody is peeking!

Beginning of the fog

Bed of roses

Laurel & Hardy

Here's the monastry, well somewhere here

So, when's the next time?!

Thanks Eve for taking the time to share this with us, i know the effort it take + i missed most of the scenery looking down searching for solid ground.

Thanks Eve, I won't mind accepting another time as long as we do it in the same conditions, you get the hard staff and i rest with khaled in small paradise like that we have found while you were fighting to keep alive!

Oh, thanks Eve for the photos, I wish I was able to make it. I think you can describe it as "walking in the clouds," must be a great feeling. All the photos are great, yet the last one is a winner. Give it to me, I want to post it on my Flickr and see the reactions. :)

Nice photos. Is there a hiking trail on Jabal Moussa? I hiked it a few of years ago from the Keserwan side and it was pretty messy, starting with a sand quarry at the entrance.
