Try hard cause i can't forgive them...
PEACE NOW
Thank you, rdps.
May the bloodshed end soon, and may peace prevail.
assaad, if somebody hit a beehive with a rock and then ran and hid behind you, would you be mad at him, or the bees?
Here's another translation:
To all Lebanese residents
Following the repeated terrorist actions of the Hezbollah, which has reached the efforts intented on finding a better future for Lebanon, the Israeli army will act in Lebanon for all the duration necessary in order to protect the Israeli people.
For your security and in order to avoid harm to civilian people who are not implied with Hezbollah, avoid being in places where Hezbollah is located and where it operates.
It is necessary that you know that the continuation of the terrorist actions against Israel is a double edged blade for you and for Lebanon.
Signed Israel
Assaad, I am not Lebanese and am not in Lebanon. I apologize if I have somehow given the impression that I was.
Now please answer my question. If somebody hurled a rock at a beehive and then ran and hid behind you while the bees angrily swarmed, would you be mad at him, or would you be mad at the bees?
Assad
First I do not care if you congratulate me or not, it is my opinion and i m proud of it
Second who said that i m grateful to Israel. Hezbollah is to blame; Israeli is only doing what they use to do. i like the bee hive allegory. Bees sting so stay the hell away from them!!!!
But it is no use to cry wolf when you stir them and try to hide, and blame them. Just stay away from them!
There is no question of who is to blame. I hope people do not let their personla feeling or secterian loyalties cloud their judgements.
Hizb and Nasrallah are to blame, regardless of what their noble greater cause is, their actions are unexcusable.
this does not mean that if some one critisizes Hizbollah , they are insulting lebanese Shia
But hizbollah must get their priorities straight.
Again we thank them for liberating lebanon, bas this price we have to pay now for Hizb's delusions of grandeur is just to high.
No one is holy in lebanon and nasrallah is not GOD or his representative in lebanon.
The cannot continue to act as they cannot be questioned, or doubted.
They should come of their high horses.
enough is enough.
No, your beehive allegory doesn't work; in that equation, there's the human, and there's the insect. Even if you blamed the human, you would still feel no hesitation to crush the insects, spray them, do whatever it is to get rid of them. They're simply a mindless nuissance. This isn't the case here; as much as one might be compelled to think of Israelis as insects they are unfortunately not. The equation here is way more grave, and simplistic allegories are a naive way of treating it. There is such a thing as the appropriateness of the reaction to the action, and Israel's reaction is neither appropriate, proprtionate nor justified. It is ruthless, inhumane and barbaric. It is, simply put, terroristic in the truest sense of the word. You'd think a people who had faced such oppression historically would have more mercy, but I guess it is like the victims of sexual abuse: some just grow up to be the worst kind of abusers, because they know where it hurts, and worse still, they feel justified in doing it. In this time when the country is under such venomous fire, it is a pity to see all the blame turning inside, instead of being focused on that who deserves it, the people killing the people and destroying our country. They are not bees; they are accountable human beings, and we should hold them accountable. This is not self-defense; this is viscious aggression.
I've been reading the blogs for some time now, and I have to say this. It's a little before midnight here and a little before 7 am in Lebanon.
Who to blame? I refused after the second day and after seeing the escalating Israeli assault at our beloved country to discuss this matter as I felt, and still feel, the time is for getting together against a barbarian attack by those who showed us nothing but hatred and blood. Later will be the time of a severe confrontation.
What I wanna say seeing all these widespread Israeli attacks at civilian targets make it look it's a matter beyong kidnapping 2 soldiers, and I stress soldiers. Hizbullah made a big mistake at a bad time, but this cannot justify the escalating and uncontrolled retaliation that our whole country is suffering from.
It's an obvious act of hatred and a horrible crime against civilians.
It's the time I just stand by Lebanon....by the lebanese....by the killed men, women, and burned babies...
I don't have the power to blame...or analyze....I'm so worried....so digusted....but so in faith my country will survive it...and we'll have better days.
God save our land.
