Freeing the 2 Soldiers
This is the 7th day where israel is destroying Lebanon to free the two israel soldiers. To get a better idea about the techniques that israel is implementing, please check these photos. (Thanks ATC for the link)

Remarkable Progress
If you want to see the remarkable progress that the israeli war machine is attaining by targeting "terrorists"(???), I advise you to check this post Not only they were once happy, they were also once alive. (Thank you Lazarus for this post.)

I was naive...
Last Wednesday, when israel started attacking Lebanon, I was expecting things to settle down in a couple of days, but now, after one week, I don't see any hope of a near solution. I was naïve; I thought that USA would press on israel to stop destroying the civil infrastructive of Lebanon and to stop killing the Lebanese civilians... Then USA encouraged israel to take vengeance; after all the children of Lebanon are terrorists, aren't they? Of course they are. Then Arab countries, KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), Egypt (Kingdom of Egypt), and the rest of the Arab kingdoms also justified israel's position. The only two countries that condemned israel's position were, Iran and Syria; but since both of these countries are listed as terrorists, no one cares for what they say.

Green Light has been Given Before
By now, I fully realize that the israeli plan was not the birth of the moment when Hezbollah captured the two israeli soldiers. This plan is old and goes beyond freeing two soldiers; it has been set before and they were waiting for the right moment to destroy Lebanon and torture the innocent Lebanese civilians as they see their country razed to the ground.

I also estimate that israel has long before got the green light to destroy Lebanon not only from USA, but also from the rest of the countries that matter, including Arab countries.

Let's Unite
There is Lebanese proverb that says,
أنا وخيّي على إبن عمي، أنا وإبن عمي على الغريب
I am with my brother against my cousin, yet, I am with my cousin against the stranger.
It seems that we, the Lebanese, are failing to grasp this fact. Instead of standing one stand against israel, we are preferring to blame and blame. I do not support Hezbollah, but at the same time I don't think it is time to blame anyone. This time I am using this blog to invite all the Lebanese to work as a single hand, to stand one stand against the israeli aggression.

Indeed may allah be with you, cause it seems no body else will. This includes the arab world and hizballah's puppet masters in Syria and Iran.

very few plans are birth of the moment. Most Military forces have plans ready for most cituations. Israel just pulled out plan "War with Hizbullah" out of the drawer where it was sitting for ten years.

And yet you still manage to blame Israel and bemoan the lack of a united front against them. What is wrong with you all? It saddens me to read this blog because so many of you are behaving like children lashing out at the only authority figure you've got (Israel) instead of the schoolyard bully who's making your lives hell (Hizb.) Are you all pimply 17-year-old boys more worried about some ridiculous tribal sense of Lebanese honor than about a peaceful future? Pardon my language, but your "cousin" has been buggering you and shitting on your floor for the past 20 years!

The blame is easily placed if you have the courage to do so. There is no hope for Lebanon until you all wake up and realize that there is a cancer in your country. A cancer called Hizballah. A cancer called Islamic Fundamentalism.

Why were we wrong in preparing this? We knew that if hizballa won't force our hand, we will stay docile and if they will illegaly attack us than we will know how to respond. he fact that you have a contingency program doesn't mean you want to use it. BTW it is NOT the first attack in the last 6 years. Each time we did nothing and Hizballah grew more bold. What would you do in our place?

To the rest of the israeli bloggers, who just created blogger accounts to participate on our blog, I would like to tell you that your aim is not [k]Hezbollah; your true aim is to destroy Lebanon rather than destroy [k]Hezbollah. You realize what kind of competition we pose to your country on the various fields, so the easy way is to destroy our civil infrastructure and to claim that you are after [k]Hezbollah.

And thanks for the gifts that the israeli children are sending to the Lebanese children. Let the world see and decide who is the true terrorist.

you decieve yourself. If we wanted to destroy lebanon there would be no Lebanon right now. There are many weapons like cluster-bombs, napalm and FAE that we didn't use (nor will we).
No disrespect but what competition are you talking about? your army? your technology? maybe your hugh factories? The medicines you make? Your religeious fanatics? the only things you do have is tourists and Labane. If you think we will go to war for that you are simply insane.

ahmad, I know it might be tough for you to wrap your tribal-minded head around this fact, but I am certainly not Israeli and I'm definitely not Jewish. Heck, I'm not even Christian or Hindu, for that matter. But what I am is a member of the civilized world. And we're tired of cleaning up the messes caused by certain Muslims.

You can let Hizballah shit in your house all you want, and the same goes for Hamas and all the rest of the barbarians. But I refuse to stand by and stay quiet when they start causing trouble for my country and its allies like Israel.

and fearorintelligence for godssake u cant even touch syrian borders coz ure afraid of their army
Are you smoking crack or maybe related to Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf the former Iraqi Information Minister? The Israelis could wipe out Syria's military in less then 2 weeks, and even Assad knows it. Why do you think he's sitting around letting Hizballah get pounded?

Kicked from Beirut?? Do you know the history of the middle east?
Israel has left because:
1) The PLO left for Tunis so our objective was completed.
2) The Sabra & Shatila massacre although commited by christians was supported by some israeli officers. This has turned public opinion against the war.
I don't know what kind of stupid propoganda you are eating but the syrian army is a joke. only 2 weeks ago 4 of our jets flew above Bashar's palace to make a point, the great syrian army didn't manage to fire a shot. If the syrian army is so brave and mighty please explain why they don't do anything for their "allies" in lebanon.
we have kicked syrian ass in 48, 67, 73 and destroyed most of their air force and army units in Lebanon in 82. we have become stronger while they barely have spare parts to use their jets (and I mean normal use, not combat). What you (and apparently nasarallah) don't seem to get is that while we fight without concensus (like Lebanon in the past) we are hurt very much by loses (I wouldn't expect you to understand why we care for our men) but when we fight for our houses (or at least believe so) your paradigm is completely wrong.

Since when have you been debating? All I've seen you do on this blog is beat your chest and blame all your problems on the evil Jooooooos.

Do you know what I think a big part of the problem is? When the Israelis show their strength it makes many Lebanese realize how poweless and impotent they are in comparison, so like you, they behave like children and lash out at the same people they secretly envy. Too bad you can't turn some of that energy against the true enemies that have been soiling Lebanon for the past 20 years: Hizballah, Syria and Iran.

If you read my posts, you would notice that I never used the term "Jews". I don't have any problem with Judaism; however, I despise Zionism. Please do not use Jews and zionists as synonyms, everyone knows the difference except people like yourself.

Maybe Syria is not our best friend... But certainly israel is the enemy. By the way, wasn't it israel behind Qana Shelling where 102 civilians were burned alive in israeli fire? And now you come to me with all this crap that you are a friend?

Again the hizballah don't tell you they fired a rocket from a position near QANA. This was a mistake, in fact this attack effect on our public opinion forced us to end the ill named "grapes of wrath" operation.

Let's assume that [k]Hezbollah fired a rocket from a position near Qana, does this give you the right to destroy a Fijian UNIFIL compound full of unarmed civilians? Everyone knows that there is absolutely no chance that [k]Hezbollah would be in the UNIFIL compound.

The truth is that the israeli army is only brave when facing civilians...

First of all if hizbalah has fired a rocket from Qana it gives us every right to destroy it. Second qana was hit by artillery the IDF claims (though I can not be sure) that the battery didn't know about the civilians, hey simply triangulated the origin of the rocket and fired away. Tragic but unlike hizballah we don't hide among civilians and we try to minimize civilian causulties.

What do I feel about killing 102 civilians? Really bad.
May I ask you a question too?
In 1992 hizballah blew up A jewish building in Buenus-aires, argentina killing 90 civilians. What do you feel about that??
correct me if I am wrong but you feel nothing, not because you are a bad person but because you don't know about it. This is the big problem you simply don't know what the hizballah is doing to Israel.

I felt so bad for Argentinian civilians as much I feel bad for the Iraqi civilians and Palestinian civilians killed by the Israeli war machine.
Yet let me enlighten you, the Lebanese Hezbollah does not perform any operations outside Lebanon.

I must say you amaze me. Hizbalah didn't accept responsibility for the attack, but I (and Israel and the US and argentina) don't believe this anymore you believe Qana was a mistake. look in Wikipedia (AMIA bombing).
Can you at least except Hizballah has launched rockets to Israel?
Can you accept the fact that in the last 6 years Hizbalah has attacked across the border into Israel more than once? I saw the funerals of people killed by this attacks and Israel is not inside Lebanon. you can misspell my name all you want, it doesn't make my claims false.

You know what's israel's problem... Everytime something happens to a jew in any place in the world, they either blame Hamas or Islamic Jihad or Hezbollah. It is really funny when you would say that Hezbollah, which was a local resistance in Lebanon, has international spread even in Argentine!

And regarding those 6 years, after israel was kicked from Southern Lebanon, israel still refused to give up Chebaa Farms, and they continued to invade the Lebanese skies with their warplanes, and they continued to occasionally target Lebanese villagers near the border, etc... I can go on for ages and the list won't finish.
