We are not anti-semites... We are Arabs

Faced with intricate internal affairs, we might be divided. In the light of the events shaping up, we are Arabic, we are Lebanese and we are at war with Israel. If you ask who we are, if you think we are divided and weak, we tell you we are you enemy and we stand united and strong. Don’t bother with our internal affairs and our relations with the Arabic countries, I promise you each and every Lebanese and Arabic person agrees on our hate of our invader and of the ruthless enemy government of oppression and aggression. Our common denominator will always be our hate for you. I don’t worry about my family now, God is with them. I don’t worry about the country now, this is a war and I feel proud. Brace yourselves Lebanese, what’s done is done. Stand strong and stand proud. This is a historical moment, be patient and be sure. We are a people of heart and we will fight till the end. We fight by all the means we have. Our people are mountains and our fighters are lions.
God bless Lebanon
God bless the Lebanese people

We are criticized of being weak and divided. The ambassador of the enemy to the UN council went as far as declaring his conviction with the punishment of a nation and of innocent children and civilians for the mere fact that we, as a government, are not strong enough to be a sovereign nation. He said Lebanon’s history is being re-written and they should have the right to take part in defining it. Israelunderstands how complicated the history of Lebanon is and understands that when it comes to our politics, the rules are those of tribal rules as it is and has been in most Arabic regimes. They should have learned it by now after they paid the price for their ignorance of our history and sociopolitical implications in the 80’s. The rules that are far beyond the understanding of the fat-brained leaders of thefree world. The rules that Assad and Saddam set and that Sharon did not follow. Now Olmert learned the rules and is willing to play the game.Olmert bet on the unifying Arabic tribal feeling to take a hit at Syria and Iran, using us as a tool. What he still doesn’t understand is that those same tribal feelings make us strong and help us fight till death. What he doesn’t understand is that he will not threaten our unity with his stupid anti-HA propaganda sent to us in cowardly fliers. We had 22 years of occupation and oppression and massacres to learn who the true enemy is.

We cease to be citizens of Beirut or the South or Damascus even. We are a price that the world has to pay. We are an extension to the Palestinian suffering. We are a reflection of the long due Arabic reaction. And trust that we will be a wake up call. We paid our dues? We never owed anything in the beginning. It seems that, along with our fellow victims in Palestine, we are destined to fight for the honorOf the whole Arabic world. We were generous enough to host the PLO in 82. Arafat was another leader who lost sight of the cause and who turned slave to corruption. The lack of any support from any Arabic nation left a land of resistance as an oasis of corruption. Israel never found in Lebanon a welcoming land and never will. In the midst of our division faced with the PLO-mediated turmoil, Israel was still theenemy. We kicked you out in 83, we kicked you out in 2000 and will do it over and over again. Faced with a similar situation now, we are for the resistance and for Hizballah who is now defending the Lebanese cause. Our issues with Syria and HA's support by Iran, the struggle of power and the hidden agendas, the Islamic long term effect... None of these issues are more eminent than the threat of an Israeli invasion and non neighboured the insults, the destruction, the injustice and the inhumanity Israeli politics has inflicted on us.

We fight because America, her bloodthirsty neo-conservative administration, her Zionist media, and her Zionist-Crusader-Republican Congress have a vision of a new middle-east which consists of small weak puppets to the american “democracies” in all the Arabic countries and the world, and will not stand for any form of resistance, may that be justified, and the means of it getting the support of the public opinion is through calling “terrorism” any form of freedom fighting. Their vision to the region is to take out small dictators from leadership in the Arabic world and usher the whole world into the new democracy of the millenium under the dictatorship of Bush and to keep all of the resources (mainly the black gold) well governed and under control with the help of little dogs to the capitalism like Blair and Merkel. Stand assured, we will not be your vision of the new middle-east. We will not be an another oasis for your over-stuffed, over-consuming one-sided suburbia vision of a population to vacation. We will not be monopolized by your fascist regime and the Arabic feeling is alive and well. Keep seeding hate and hate you shall get. Hate is the legacy you leave for your children as part of your promised land and your promised dream.

Nasrallah might not have Lebanon’s best interest at heart. This might be a struggle of power between America/Israel and Iran/Syria. This might be a fight of power. We might be once again the battlefield. We are once again forced to fight the fight. Along with our fellow Arab victims in Palestine, speaking for every Arab who is being victimized, for all the Lebanese taken prisoners by the enemy, for all the men who died defending our Lebanon and believing in our borders, for the people of Iraq, for the men of Hizballah, the heroes of 2000, united we stand against the Israeli enemy. United we stand against the terror, the intimidation, the land confiscation and the criminals. United we stand against the Nazis of Qana and Nablus and Jenin and Sour and Bint Jbeil and Hart Hreik and Nabatiyeh.
God help you and your children after you..

"We should prepare to go over to the offensive. Our aim is to smash Lebanon, Trans-Jordan, and Syria. The weak point is Lebanon, for the Moslem regime is artificial and easy for us to undermine. We shall establish a Christian state there, and then we will smash the Arab Legion, eliminate Trans-Jordan; Syria will fall to us. We then bomb and move on and take Port Said, Alexandria and Sinai." David Ben-Gurion, May 1948, to the General Staff. From Ben-Gurion, A Biography, by Michael Ben-Zohar, Delacorte, New York 1978.

you say this as we are not done with this bloodshed yet, as you sit and watch, as olmert doesn't even show a moment of regret for the killings of civilians..
it seems that israel does not want peace. any indication for peace, like giving the land mine maps, giving back shabaa farms..anything..would give us the indication that our resistance does not need to defend our land anymore.. it's quite the opposite. this strike has been planned since 2000, since they left the first time.
the way this war is going is a clear indication that israel wants to destroy lebanon. they say they need to be armed to defend themselves since we're at the border well how do you think we feel after what our history taught us..
like many israeli commentators say, it's war and get used to it.. i guess it's true, when HA agreed through its assigned speaker to a cease fire and olmert doesn't consider it with all the arrogance in the world, when explorer fighter jets kept flying over our land, when the people of the south have been killed for years, the 78 invasion, the operation retaliation, grapes of wrath, now this.. i guess it's true then, you defined yourselves as the enemy and by every child that died we will never forget.
golda meir didn't.. and we won't...
if you're a democracy show me how you can effect your government as people against this madness. well you can't.. using your same argument "you lebanese couldn't disarm HA and now you deserve a collective punishment", you could not stop these war crimes and you deserve to be my enemy.

so you are a complete idiot aren't you n1x?

not once a lebanese or arabic comment was as mean and inhumane as some of the comments addressed by israelis against us. we do not celebrate death as victory and we do not condone violence and destruction. that is what a religion like islam, that you criticize, teaches us and that is what being a jew should be all about. being kind and mercifull is not of your traits and i pity your soul.

Mirvat,

Let me tell you that as a Jew, i am ashamed of what my people are doing to Lebanon. What kind of lessons did we learn from our Nazi oppressors?

Being a Jew does **not** mean standing in solidarity with the Israeli war machine, and don't let anybody tell you otherwise.
