Before and After

The Southern Suburb of Beirut, BEFORE & AFTER: more buildings, homes, schools, clinics, shops, playgrounds... all destroyed!

Somewhere there, a civilian took advantage of the temporarly 48-hour cease-fire, to fetch his daughter's terrorist toy. He found it next to her terrorist burnt school books.

That's a picture of Harat Hurayk according to the digitalglobe.com. Harat Hurayk is where Hezbollah headqurters are located so that must be them.
What's wrong with bombing Hezbollah headquarters? Is it another war crime? Or Hezbollah has headquarters in schools, clinics, shops and playgrounds?

Harat Hurayk may have had Hezbollah quarters, but it also did have schools, clinics, shops and playgrounds that have been indiscriminately decimated along with the few Hezbollah offices. I come from that area, and I am no Hezbollah supporter, but it tears at my heart to see this damage. Now, Hezbollah may have been wicked to place their operations in such densely populated areas, but Israel is even more wicked to raze such areas so ruthlessly. Yes, it is people's livelihoods that we're talking about; it is the schools, the clinics, the shops and the playgrounds, and that is inexcusable. Countering "evil" with even more evil doesn't make it right, Olegt; it just makes it a much more wicked world. As much as Hezbollah tries, they are not inflicting a fraction of this damage in Israel. And even if the people wanted, they would have no means to "rise against" Hezbollah. But I am afraid that what Israel is doing is making only less and less people want to rise against them. I am afraid it is only further radicalizing the populace, and making a deeper rift from peace. It's not smart, if peace is the aim. And if it isn't, then it's just pure evil.
