What is this?

What the fuck is this? HUH?! WHAT THE FUCK... IS THIS?? If I were God I'd throw a tantrum, fly into Aoun's office and throw this picture in his face, slap him silly and leave him on the ground crying in a girly ballerina dress, then I'd fly over Lebanon, shout so loud until Haifa's boobs explode. Saad would look up to me and ask "But, about my dad?" I'd growl at him and he will run behind Nazek and clutch her apron. I'd strike Junblat's hair with a lightning bolt. His big eyes will look once to the left, and once to the right, then his charred stick figure would run inside wailing. The land along the Lebanese borders will crack, and I, in a torrential storm, will push Lebanon into the sea, wring my hands, fly into deep space, and sulk from Humanity for another 20 centuries. That's how angry this picture makes me feel.

Satire people, satire. But I never did buy the 'generale' persona anyway. Like everyone else inside this picture and outside, he's politicking.

If the unintended consequence for this is to invite comments from nihilistic arabist/ leftist/ firstworld-raised-thirdworldists/ anti-zionist/ self-righteous-ists/ abou-khalil-groupies-ists then so be it. I don't care. This picture is no less absurd than Lebanese politics anyway.

I'll stay in exile for 15 more years and say that you were all wrong when I come back.

I'm getting flamed on my blog just for saying it like it is.
Aounists are still silent with you, they must be preparing something big.
Be afraid Firas. Be very afraid....

BOO!

I agree fully, Tempest.

Tempest, buddy, give it a rest.
You will tire of this much sooner than he will and even if that happens someone else will jump into the fold.

Hisham:
Aoun jiyeh min alla. I truly believe it. But like every prophet, he needs to be persecuted and shunned by his people before they realize their mistake. And his forgiveness... so typical of God's messenger. I can see that now. It's all so clear...

PS Firas I wish you guys could allow anonymous comments for when I want to make a terribly stupid and silly statement like this one and get away with it. Thank you.

You guys, I'm not an angry person. Really. I just read my post and your comments again and realized that I love everyone including our own Lebanese Napoleon and his devout short hairy bald follower Hisham (hisham is ma man, ma homey, and believe me you'd rather argue with him until you get carpel tunnel syndrome, than see him with his shirt off. I had to cauterize the parts of my brain where that image is stored). Paul Oakenfold is God w ma7ada jayi min 3ando. Dang I need to light some incense. Somebody post something else and push this hideous post from the top of the blog.
