Those behind Kassir's assassination were behind Hariri's assassination too.

Draw your conclusions. Mine is that USA was behind both.

Just look at the speed with which they called for a press conference.

Marsden,
I tend to agree with you. I also think that the US was testing nukes under the sea bed and generated the devastating Tsunami.

Dude. give us a break!!!!!!

I have never considered the US as a neutral party who had no benefits to gain from what is happening. Actually, I don't know who is NOT gaining in Lebanon. us maybe?

I see Lebanon as a lamb surrounded by wolves, be it Syria or Israel or USA or...

Because Mr. Qassir dared to write boldly and honestly what he believed in, he got enemies from all the corrupt systems. No doubt that the corrupt regime in Lebanon and Syria would like to assassinate all the brave activists like him. On the other hand, I ask myself why did they do it now? Could it be someone else who did it to make us blame them? I honestly don't know... and I doubt that any investigation will lead to the truth.

And Hussein, because you might be living in Baltimore USA, doesn't mean that you should take the American media for granted...

(Finally, Maldoror, please excuse my long comment.)

You're on the right track. The same questions also apply to the Hariri assassination.

yes Marsden, of course... all the possibilities hold.

Syria's hands are stained with the blood of many Lebanese martyrs; The Lebanese corrupt intelligence appartus that works for Syria won't blink before adding anyone to their death list... while USA won't hesitate killing anyone if this would serve its "cause".
