Links Worth Checking

There is actually someone sane enough to see the reality in Israel: check here.

which part of this is don't you get?

And now on to my favorite post (courtesy of Mononoke) :

Can you Hear me: Lebanon is STAYING!

Dear Olmert

what are you doing? you are pathetic..

you can destroy our bridges.
our ports.
our south.
our north.
our capital.
our hospitals.

we will rebuild. just as before. just as always.

we're staying. WE are staying. YOU will never break us.

you can kill our children.
our daughters and sons.
our moms and dads.
our sisters and brothers.
and WE will never forget.

our wrath will be unleashed.
and we will remember.
every single child you hurt.
every single mother who cried.
every single home you broke.

and we will move on.
we will pick up the pieces and mend them back together.
we will replant the jasmine trees. the orange trees. and the cedars trees.
our mountains and our valley will be green again.
our laughter will echo once again. i promise you.
and we will continue to be the strong unshakable people that we are.

WE are LEBANESE you coward.

go to hell.

Truly,

Citizens of Lebanon.

I have a question to those who are now in Beirut:

Did Israeli planes drop bombs on Beirut in other areas than ad-Dahia, Haret Hrek and the port?

Those three targets are anything but "civilian" targets; and I don't see the civilians in Beirut runing for their lives, as you would expect if indeed Israel were to "intentionally target innocent civilians".

I get the feelig, that all these "Israel is destroying Lebanon" posts are way too histerical...

shai, 170 dead civilians are not enough for you? all of them were not intentional right? then let israel has to re-evaluate its targetting machinery, it's leaking.

you dont see civilians running for their lives? are you living on planet earth? even your favorite CNN is broadcasting that.

mononoke,

Since you didn't answer me, but asked me another question, I'll reply with another question too.

Don't you think it's a bit strange, that practically all dead poeple are civilians? I mean, after six days of war, and tons of explosives, should'nt there be at least 200, 300 non-civilian casualties?

Did you hear any report about those casualties in your media?

What exactly are your sources for that?

And as for non-civilians, who exactly are you referring to? The army? Or to Hezbollah militants. If its the latter one, then how many of those do you actually think there are in Lebanon?

Lazarus,

I was under the impression, and correct me if I'm wrong, that ad-Dahia is a Hezbella stronghold, and that from Haret Hrek and anti-airplane missiles were shot, and that the port was used to shoot our ship.

My point is, you are still sitting in your neighbourhoods, because you know no-one will touch you where you sit. You know we are not after civilians.

The only reason you stay in Beirut, is because you know, that the Israeli army is not after civilians.

Shai,

impressions are not enough. impressions can, and usually are wrong. in this case, they are also hilarious.

let's start one by one: the port was used to shoot israeli ships? interesting. which port exactly? the one in triploi, which has been bombed, which is not a Hezbollah stronghold?

Next: not after civilians. The people of the town or rmeileh, which the IDF "kindly" told to leave before they wiped the town "clean", were killed in their minibus. did the IDF suddenly realize they weren't civilians? or did they miss, as what usually happens? was the school that was bombed in Tyre (my hometown by the way, which has suffered continuous bombing) was used to hide Hezbollah militants.

Next: Dahia/Haret Hreik is a hezbollah stronghold. Please explain what that media created term means.

On a final note, I've already asked you to provide sources for your statements. I can provide sources for all of mine. Until you stop foaming at the mouth at petty propaganda, all this dialogue is just a waste of time.

I ask one thing of you: t - h - i - n - k. and after you've done that, then post. not the other way around.

regards,
laz.

Shmulik,

Once again, for both of the points you brought up, please provide sources. Once I see where you have read it, then I may argue or agree with you.

On another point ...

Why the double standards? According to your explanation, it seems acceptable for enemies of Israel to bomb Haifa, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, simply because IDF soldiers live there, have offices there, etc. Yet, I'm pretty sure that you, as do I, don't find that acceptable.

cheers,
laz.

provide sources for ad-dahia being a hezballa stronghold?
provide sources for our ship being shot from the Beirut port???

you must be joking. are you living on mars?

my dear shai,

i'm puzzled. do you skip words when you read?

anyway: you take a comment directed to shmulik, and then act grand. try answering the questions i directed to your comment, such as bombing the tripoly port. I didn't ask you about the Beirut port, did I?

cheers. and stay safe.

Warning Strong Pictures

These are the pictures you will see, only, in Lebanese newspapers tomorrow. yes, too strong & maybe non-postable for ethical reasons, but what is going on in Lebanon has gone beyond any ethics in any worldwide dictionary. This is what the Israeli raids are doing to my country, to my people. This is what they will keep on doing, under the pretext of "self-defense". Those are the terrorists who scared Ehud Olmert. A moment of silence, a prayer and a call for all those who care still about humanity to wake up!!
