Evidence-based facts
Just for the records and to counter the saying that LBF has never reached this low.
Here are some facts backed with some data.
Since the war, LBF has never been so active, lively and diverse. Statistics speak for themselves, with on average, 3 posts a day and an increased number of visitors compared to previous months and even compared to the beginning of the month, before the Newcomers entered LBF.

* Please note that this is not to attack anyone; I’m just giving credits to the newcomers and supporting LBF.

Nice one Noblis, people lie, the evidence never does :D
evidence? all I see is a chart that cannot be clicked and no source :P.
wo ba3dein shoo 3am bisir?
sarit el ossa a la march 8 and march 14?
just let this thing go wo khalsoona ba2a.
just a small remark:
in lebanon the number of unique visitors is bullshits as most of the user are on dynamic ips
so graphs based on unique visitors do not need anything and are biast
francois depends...
dial up..dynamic ips.
those wireless stuff have a rotation every ip is shared by several dozens of users.
but those illegal internet providers get a few ips with their leased lines, and since most the people are ignorant
of true networking design, they only use one ip, drop the rest and use wingate as a gateway for the entire network.. a cracked wingate :P.
long live el khodarjiyeh yalle byit3addo 3ala masele7 ghayron...
Guys, holding everything else constant the number of visitors did increase!
there are many factors for this mx9
1) more and more people are discovering blogspot..its a general increase.
2) more and more people are knowing about their friends blogs and finding their way here from links at their blogs.
3) people logging on the internet is always on the increase
4) TV is sucking more and more so people tend to find other things to entertain themselves.
so what you see, is just a normal trend for all over the internet.
my blog is getting more and more visitors daily, I haven't changed, no body posts on my blog other than me, I have the same style of writting... its just normal.
:P
ergo LBF is becoming more popular!
Kodder you re right about the trend however i think blogging now is on peak bcz of its maturity but the trend now will be to decrease the kind of blog we know for a new kind of blog with more multimedias content, such as régular podcasts, videos with a certain quality, scénarios etc... asked. But due to the connections speeds available in lebanon , this wont be the case, the lebanese bloggers in general wont be able to push toward this phenomena and the trend will be reversed over the lebanese blogs in general... unless our dear promised already outdated DSL would be launched (in paris they are already testing 1.2 giga connections for individuals)
About the IP, better to use other kind of tracking devices such as google analytics that would show if the same pc reached the site or not.
Moreover about the graph itself, we dont see anything? it is in month? years? weeks? if it s in weeks, it doesnt mean anything, months and years? it s a slight increase, but not a huge increase.
the number do not mean anything, better to check the source of the visitors
IE: it is a general search on google due on a better classification without being specific, theses people wont be coming back
You have to check the number of regular visitors vs the number of unique visitors
On libnanews for ex we have 52% of regular visitors and 48 new visitors on daily bases, if we enlarge it to one week, we get around 82% of regular visitors for 18 new visitors which means that we are enjoying the faith of our internet users.
and of course the total number increases as well.
totally agree with you francois.
numbers are useless unless you take into account all the parameters leading to those numbers.
damn all I can talk is related to computer science and information processing :P.
oh well, that's my job anyway, crunching numbers and analyzing them.
and speaking of DSl, ogero is promising dsl in march for 7th year in a row.
I wonder what's so nice about march , they have been saying that next march we will have dsl since january 2000
funny :P.
I wonder if this march it will happen, since the actual infrastructure has been there for years.
But noooo, our government is happily taking money from people using dial up.
Anyway even if they put dsl now it will be useless, we do not have enough bandwith to the country.
7 years ago it would have been enough, considering the amount of computers per family that we had back then.
But now its not unusual to see in each household 2 or 3 computers. For geeks like me at one point I had 7 operating computers in my room(and all working on something, not just for show).
anyway, we will see what will happen...
