Fruitful debate cannot come about without people of different points of view being allowed to feel comfortable and forthcoming about their ideas.
Many of you will not give the man the time of day, but I suggest you watch Imad Mustapha, Syrian Ambassador to the US, at Georegtown University in Washington. He talks about Syria's Role in the Middle East and U.S.-Syrian Relations. There are questions asked, which many of us have on our minds.
So, in the spirit of debate and if for anything else but to hear some interesting questions asked and answered, I urge you to watch this program. It would be a mild understatement to say I would like many points of views addressed here. I would truly like LBF to be a node of tolerance, open-mindedness, and creativity online for all Lebanese. We're not there yet, but lets brainstorm about new ways to welcome more people here willing to ask the most difficult questions. Let's do some cerebral spelunking.
What do you think?
I'm supposed to not be blogging. Damn.
