Meetup: Time & Place
Sorry Ramzi for not giving your post time to breathe. I just want to inform all those who are concerned that the first Lebanese blogger meetup will take place this Friday, at seven (p.m. of course), at Second Cup cafe, which is near Al Balad restaurant and Al Rifai Downtown, for those who don't know it. I hope that suits everyone. See you there.

Man,
Second Cup is all over the place - okay, I know of two locations: downtown and ABC Ashrafieh - as are Starbuck's and Seattle's Best.
Isn't Second Cup Canadian?
Good choice. I think I can make it at 7pm. I might have something at 7:30, but we'll see.
How will we be able to know who you are? Perhaps we should looks for the table with three uneaten pieces of blueberry cheese cake surrounded by a bunch of blog-looking people? If that's not good enough, SC has these frozen things that are in three different colors: yellow, mango, and pink. Whoever arrives first can get one of each and place them strategically around the three pieces of cheesecake. We'll definitely know which table is filled with Lebanese Bloggers then.
Hmm... Good point! How will we know each other?
I suggest that every blogger gets a mouse with him and places it on the table...
(Kidding eh? If any of you do that I'll walk away)
It's good you didn't suggest a red rose with a book! :p
Ana I don't suggest anything! where's the fun of looking around and asking each person if he has a blog name, then make him look at you as if you're weird?
I suggest we all agree on a secret password phrase... "the rainbow has seven colors" sounds good, then the others reply "ROY GBIV" =))
I can arrive a little early, then I will put a laptop that has Chinese dragon drawings on its back. This should be enough for every one to identify the bloggers table. :)
For Ramzi's sake, I will not be attaching any mouse to it. :P
This also means that you can count me in.
Sorry I can't join you guys.. but I'll be with you in spirit.. :-)
Keep us updated..
Maybe we can start a blog for networking...
Interesting. You know, the Iraqi bloggers have been the first Arab bloggers online (since 2002), yet we still haven't had an Iraqi bloggers meetup. Hell, we can't even get along online in one space.
Wishing you guys and your country all the best. Let us know how it goes on.
Hi
that is a very nice idea. I will try my best to be there.
