Silent Expectation

These are both images of Bahia Hariri, captured 6 months apart (January, June).
In my opinion, nothing personifies the trials we have experienced as a nation more than these two pictures. Our souls are battered, withered and weary. And most any of us can manage to do now is to stand solemn in silent expectation.

don't want to spoil your argument Ramzi, but both these pictures were taken after Hariri was assassinated
The caption at Getty Images clearly read January 31 2005. Are you certain?
I doubt she would be wearing light colors after his assasination. But the blue scarf is foreboding isn't it?
Yes, I'm certain of the date.
The caption reads:
"Lebanese parliament deputy Bahia Hariri speaks on her cellular phone during a parliamentary session held 31 January 2003 in Beirut to discuss the state's budget. "
Oops,
The economist had used that image a month after hariri's assassination, so i assumed its recent.
Wow, these pic's say a lot.
