History says you're wrong: murdering fascist cultures - the leaders and the mind-set - can indeed be destroyed, to the lasting joy of the survivors afterwards.

Imagine there's no jihad
It's easy if you try
No Islamic Republics
No virgins in the sky
Imagine all the people
Riding buses without fear

Imagine no televised beheadings
It isn't hard to do
No mullahs to kill or die for
The Taliban in a zoo
Imagine all the women
Unbeaten and unveiled

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
Any more crap from Ahmaninejad
And I'm buying me a gun

Imagine no suicide bombers
I wonder if you can
No more Wahibis
Food in the Sudan
Imagine all the muslims
Just getting along

You may say that I'm a dreamer ...

No Hilal, the Israeli strategy can be summed in one word:

The aim of inflicting massive widespread damage to Lebanon is ment to deter Hizbu from trying something like that in the future.
Israel knows very well that Hizbu doesn't give a f**k about Lebanon or dying and will not be deterred.
Especially considering it's an Iranian puppit.
However, Israel's hope is that the outcry by the Lebanese ppl will prevent such an occurance in the future and in the best case, lead to the disarmement of Hizbu and the deployment of the Lebanese army in the South.

Personally, I doubt it will work in the long run without a change in Teheran.

Contrary to your believe, Israel's interest (and I'm talking about interests here, not about the love of Lebanon) is not to see a weak Lebanon, but exactly the oposite.
Israel would like to see a strong central regime, just like in Jordan and Egypt, that can mantain a peacful border.

yeh u maybe be right..
but she needs a strong lebanon that says just YES for her..

I didn't say a strong Lebanon.
I said a strong central regime.
Besides, do you consider Jordan and Egypt as countries who just say yes to Israel?

yeh.. don't u consider that?
if they don't say yes they are the diplomatic chain between israel and palestinians.. and when all arab countris become like that then expect the ral action towards palestinians:
ie. the wall is just first to come of a list..

and if they don't say yes to israel.. they will say it to USA

I won't argue with you about the Palestinian cause, simply because it's not the time.

If u wanna continue to fight for Palestine that's your right of course (Especially that they have done so much for Lebanon since they came in the 70's).

But then don't be surprised you find yourself in the middle of a war.

someone from the otherside,
i know what happened prviuosly in lebanon.. i didn't say liberating palestine with arms via lebanon..
it's my right to be with them emotionaly.
yes they were wrong with things they did in lebanon.. but they were not alone.. lbanese were wrong too..
yet this doesn't affect my opinion about the palestinian human and land rights..
