Excellent caricature, thanks for posting it.
"No Comment" indeed, as in the best caricatures.
lovely
Ghassan,
Hoss was the first one to call for an investigation and holding the criminals accountable. Also Hoss has been actively trying to help the cause of the prisoners in Syrian jails long before it became fashionable last year. The man could be criticized for a lot of things, but one thing you can't take away from him is his human rights record, and his stance against homicide.
the picture says it all.
allah yer7amon
Really an intelligent caricature, thanks for posting it.
It makes me feel awful that till this day, people are being tortured to death... everywhere!
It doesn't matter why it is brought up now. Only a fool or a devious criminal would ask why now?
Hoss sucks: If you have principles and don't stand up for them, what is he use? Wasn't Foss PM during or right after this horror (and others) happened?
Of course, everyone with half a brain knew what was going on. All the creeps certainly knew, including the Army command. When the army cannot or won't protect itself, how can it protect the nation and the citizens.
As to Lahoud? I am still looking for the words to express my contempt and disgust... Tfeh!
"It doesn't matter why it is brought up now. Only a fool or a devious criminal would ask why now?"
I agree, you should never question politican, if you can't trust hrard working honest politicos who can you trust?
Cute Jamal, answer this question:
When is a good time to talk about this horror?
Since you asked nicely,
When? If you are one of the Lebanese Politicians past or present then the answer is Never because they all have skeletons in their closets. That's hypocrisy.
If you truly care for the victims in mass graves, then dig them all up. ALL. I'm all for it. Let's hold every war criminal accountable. Forget the amnesty that the war criminals gave themsleves in Taef. Put them all in jail. If you find a way to do that, i'll support you 100% Josey.
Until then, let's try not open a can of worms when we might not be able to contain its repercussions.
Jamal,
We cannot keep sticking our heads in the sand forever, on the basis that some creeps have/will escape justice.
The consequences will continue to be bad: i.e. the Leb and Syrian STATES, supposed to protect the citizen will remain delinquent at their jobs.
